NW Family YMCA provides a sports program to the children of Walton Ridenour and Walton Crossing, including basketball, soccer and flag football. They also provide swim lessons during the summer.
McClesky East-Cobb Family YMCA provides swim lessons during the summer for the Adventure Centers. They also provide Farm Fresh Markets in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank which offers fresh fruits and vegetables at a significantly reduced rate at select communities. Kennesaw State University – Academic success begins with reading, and we have partnered with Kennesaw State University to help struggling readers by identifying any deficits in reading and tutoring children who need additional help in this area. Experts in education, along with college students who are working toward their education degree, will analyze each child’s skill level and develop a program tailor-made for that student. Our goal is that every child will be reading at grade level or above so that they will be prepared to move ahead in school and in life.
