A Place to Belong, Serve, and Grow

Legacy Programs help active adults ages 55 and up thrive through meaningful opportunities for connection, learning, service, and community in select Walton communities. Each experience is designed around the social, educational, cultural, and spiritual needs of this community, creating spaces where neighbors can build relationships, share their gifts, and continue growing in faith and purpose.

Mission 1:27 celebrates the wisdom, experiences, and gifts of older adults by providing opportunities for continued learning, meaningful connection, and service. Through engaging activities and shared experiences, participants are encouraged to stay involved, strengthen relationships, and make a lasting impact in their communities.

  • Legacy Programs are designed for active adults ages 55 and up in select Walton communities.

  • Legacy Programs include social gatherings, themed parties, monthly birthday celebrations, health and wellness programs, educational opportunities, day trips, cultural activities, and more.

  • Through shared activities, outings, and community experiences, participants can build friendships, discover new interests, and spend time doing what they enjoy with others.

  • Legacy Programs serve 13 Walton communities: Green, Harbor, Heights, Lakes, Mill, Oaks, Overlook, Park, Renaissance, Ridge, Summit, Trail, Village, and Vinings.

  • Yes! Legacy Programs are designed to welcome adults who want to meet new people, get involved, and enjoy opportunities for connection and learning.

  • We connect neighbors, encourage relationships, and build community by bringing residents together for engaging events and experiences.

    Communication stays consistent through a variety of methods and mediums.

    Outreach happens person to person, encouraging participation every step of the way. 

    Hospitality shows up in every welcoming, enjoyable event we host.
