Our StoryOur story began in 1989 with one apartment community and a simple belief: home should do more than shelter people. More than 30 years later, that belief lives on. Today, Mission 1:27 serves children, families, and seniors in loving obedience to James 1:27.
Our Programs
Adventure Centers
Making disciples and learning an adventure.
The Adventure Centers at Walton Communities offer complimentary after-school and summer camp enrichment programs for resident children in grades K-5.
Adventure Teens
Equipping the next generation of leaders.
Adventure Teens is a leadership development program for middle & high school students, helping them reach their fullest potential and be successful in life.
Strengthening families and neighbors.
Neighbor Network provides support and resources that strengthen individuals and families through Life Groups, Food Co-ops, counseling, single-parent programs, the Mission 1:27 Christmas Market, and more.

Connecting and enriching senior adults.
Mission 1:27’s Legacy Programs are for active senior adults. These fun-filled and informative programs provide social, educational and cultural activities and outings for senior adults 55 and up in select Walton communities.
